As President of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE), it is my pleasure to invite you to join us in Boston, Massachusetts, for the 27th Annual AACE Scientific & Clinical Congress, May 16-20, 2018.
The theme of this year’s Annual Scientific Congress, “Charting the Future,” will deliver breakthroughs in science and the clinical practice of endocrinology in a city that has been at the forefront of American medicine. The Program Committee Chair, Dr. Vin Tangpricha and Vice Chairs, Dr. Susan Samson, Dr. Greg Randolph and Dr. Vivian Fonseca, should be congratulated on creating an educational experience that emphasizes the very best in cutting-edge research and explores the most advanced innovations in contemporary clinical endocrinology.
Attendees will experience first-hand the latest technological and medical advances in endocrinology and engage in practical workshops aimed at enhancing skills that will be directly applicable to their busy practices. World-renowned experts and thought leaders will cover the broad area of endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism.
We look forward to four days of education, networking, and science. On Wednesday, we will feature Pre-Congress sessions with morning and afternoon interactive workshops on various endocrine topics along with a lifelong learning board review session. The next three days of the program are packed with plenaries, meet-the-experts, in-depth symposia, poster sessions and satellite symposia. Click here for a detailed program agenda.
As with any AACE meeting, we aim to provide a venue to gather with old friends and colleagues. Be sure to attend the Chapter Receptions on Thursday, the Wine & Cheese on Friday, and the President’s Gala on Saturday. Fellows are invited to their special luncheon on Friday, where the next Fellow-in-Training Board Representative will be elected. At the Saturday Business Luncheon for AACE members, we will install the new President, Dr. Daniel Hurley.
This year we will also be highlighting the American College of Endocrinology with College-sponsored sessions throughout the program, the ACE Breakfast with the Masters, and our College Convocation, where we honor our new FACE recipients and other awardees who have contributed so much to the organization. At the American College of Endocrinology Convocation on Saturday evening, our new College Fellows (FACE) will be inducted.
A fabulous Family & Guest program has also been planned, which highlights all the city of Boston has to offer. Tours include Boston Museum of Fine Arts, Fenway Park and the JFK Library. See the Family & Guest Program for more information and registration.
Come and bring your family and invite colleagues to join us in celebrating our 27th year. I hope to see you all in Boston!
